Player / Parent Forms

PHILADELPHIA PRIME BASEBALL

The Philadelphia Prime Baseball organization is comprised of coaches, volunteers, kids and parents that choose to be a part of a competitive baseball program. In our efforts to provide value for your participation, Prime Baseball will deliver a high level of instruction, development and training by professional coaches. The empowering function of Prime Baseball is to maximize the talents and abilities of players on and off the field and to assist them in their journey to play higher levels of baseball.

Year-Round Development

Prime Baseball is built around three seasons - Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer - because the biggest gains in a player's development come from consistent, year-round work, not a single season. Fall is intentionally kept light, giving players room to enjoy other activities while staying connected to the game. Winter is where the real training happens - speed, agility, strength, and skill work that builds the foundation for everything that follows. Spring/Summer is our primary competitive season, where that development shows up on the field.

Because staying on track requires commitment, we ask all families to recommit 45 days before the start of each season. Players who continue with Prime year-round skip tryouts entirely because our coaches already know your player's ability from working with them throughout the season, so there's no need to re-evaluate what we've already seen.

Organizational Commitment

The Philadelphia Prime Baseball Organization is committed to helping players develop to their highest potential by providing professional and personalized instruction in a team setting. We will provide athletes with a positive setting that supports teamwork, leadership, respect, and confidence. We will always strive to create a positive learning atmosphere; one that makes playing the game fun and exciting. Our goal is to challenge each and every athlete.

●       To ensure development of baseball skills through games, practices, and personal/professional instruction.

●       To provide players with the opportunity to expand their mental foundation of the game.

●       To introduce athletes to the levels of competition in various regions.

●       To create an environment that allows the athlete to personally assess their strengths and weaknesses to further develop.

Competition & Tournaments

Consistent with program objectives, we will seek out the best local and some regional competition available for our players. We know the competitive landscape and understand that a player only improves by facing better competition over time. We look forward to registering the team for multiple exciting & competitive tournaments.

Conduct Expectations

Prime players, coaches and parents will respect one another as individuals as well as players and teammates. Players understand that they represent Prime Baseball and will practice good sportsmanship, be a great competitor and follow a standard of behavior. All players, coaches and parents will exhibit team unity and will work toward the good of the team and their player's development throughout the season. All involved should have a full understanding that no player or family is larger than the team or the game. We will respect both and all that we do will be accomplished as a team.

We will always treat our players, their families, and other teams with respect and expect the same from our parents and players.

Communication

Prime Baseball uses TeamSnap as our primary communication and scheduling tool. New families will receive an email invitation to join their team’s TeamSnap once their player has been added to the roster. Parents are expected to keep their player’s availability updated regularly for practices and games. Prime relies on this information to schedule coaches, fields, and resources appropriately.

Payment Authorization

Families must maintain an active Prime Baseball Stripe account with a valid credit or debit card on file at all times. Any outstanding balance from a prior season must be paid in full before the start of the next season, and will be automatically charged to the card on file if not otherwise resolved.

By participating in Prime Baseball, you agree that Prime Baseball may automatically charge your card on file for season fees, according to the payment schedule presented and authorized at the time of each seasonal commitment.
